An excellent day today. I got my favorite model in for a few hours for some arm studies.
Followed up with another visit to the Gross Human Anatomy Labs at the University of Guelph thanks to some very talented and eager students who meet there every week for drawing.

I chose to have Ed pose his arm in the same positions as previous studies from the Lab. I intend to include studies such as these into a future anatomy book for artists.
The arms at the University may not have been in the same positions as the life studies but I never tire of seeking to understand the structure, form and anatomical make up of the arms.
